Butterflies and Arthur Murray

At the World Dance-O-Rama in Las Vegas (April 1999), Dawn earned the Top Teacher award from among the hundreds of teachers whose students were competing that day. Here she is posing with her trophy, along with her students who helped her earn that award.

Recently, we've just finished the Festival season at Arthur Murray, which means there's a differently-themed party each week. Dawn did most of the planning and decorations. One of her ideas was to have a balloon toss on Beach Party night. (Nothing like having water balloons flung in your direction to make you feel like dancing!)

Just this past weekend, we went (with our friends Jesse and Nyra) to the butterfly walk-through exhibit at the L.A. Natural History Museum. I got some great pictures.

Afterward, we stopped by the rose garden at neighboring Exposition Park. Beautiful!
